SpaScenter - was developed specifically to allow you to benefit of all the properties of the essential oils through the best method of diffusion, being evaporation by cold air. The fan speed is fully adjustable to select the desired intensity of the diffusion. Add 5 to 15 drops of essential oils to the pad in the drawer and select the fan speed. Within seconds, you will enjoy the goodness of the oils you have chosen, for hours. |
Diffusion or vaporization works in two different ways: the first is by purifying the air, as tiny aromatic molecules slowly saturating the air will “kill” the airborne bacteria. The second way is through absorption into the blood stream. As the aromatic molecules are inhaled, they enter the lungs; pass through the tiny air sacs and to the blood capillaries by the process of diffusion. Once in the blood stream, the aromatic molecules interact with the body’s chemistry. Vaporization can therefore be used to purify the air when infectious illness is around as well as to benefit from the healing powers of the essences. It can also be used to repel insects, subtly influence mood – or simply to create a delightful ambiance in the home or the workplace. When using a vaporizer, you will need between 4 to 10 drops of essential oil depending on the odor intensity of the individual oils used (let your nose be your guide), the size of the room and the vaporizer or nebulizer utilized.
